SEMCORP Was Graded “A” in Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s Information Disclosure Appraisal

Recently, Shenzhen Stock Exchange published the results of its information disclosure appraisal for companies on the main board and ChiNext board. SEMCORP (002812.SZ) was afforded grade “A” which is the highest grade in Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s information disclosure appraisal of 2021.

This appraisal covered 2553 companies listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with 454 of them given the grade “A” (outstanding), accounting for 17.78%. Quality of information disclosure is an important and objective gauge for a public company’s quality. The information disclosure appraisal, conducted by Shenzhen Stock Exchange annually since 2001, mainly focuses on information disclosure quality while also assesses factors such as operation standardization level and investor interests protection level. The four ranks—A, B, C and D—from highest to lowest further steers information disclosure appraisal in the right direction based on inspection practices and investors’ concerns.
